
Europe News Desk!!! Commander-in-Chief of the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) Abdel Fattah al-Burhan inspects his troops at the SAF General Command in Khartoum, the capital of Sudan. A video clip posted on SAF’s Facebook page showed al-Burhan in military uniform surrounded by a group of soldiers who were making the victory sign. The timing of the video clip has not been confirmed, Xinhua news agency reported. The SAF’s General Command compound has been the target of an attack by the paramilitary Rapid Support Force (RSF) since the armed conflict began on 15 April. It houses the offices of military intelligence, the Navy and the Air Force, the Ministry of Defense as well as the guest house of the Commander-in-Chief of the SAF. The Sudanese Doctors’ Union said in a statement on Tuesday that the civilian death toll since April 15 had risen to 822. According to the United Nations, more than 9,36,000 people have been displaced so far.
