The Palestinian Red Crescent Society gave this information in a statement. The Israeli military, in coordination with the Palestinian Liaison Office for Security Coordination with Israel, handed over the bodies to the Palestinian side on Friday at an Israeli army post near the northern West Bank city of Nablus, Xinhua news agency reported. The Palestinian WAFA news agency identified the victims as Odai Shami, Jihad Shami and Mohammed Dabik who were killed by Israeli troops on 12 March. They were in a car near the Israeli military post of Sarra near Nablus. Their bodies were taken away by Israeli soldiers.
According to figures released by the Palestinian Authority in November last year, Israel has withheld the bodies of more than 110 Palestinians killed by Israeli troops since 2015, including 10 minors, eight prisoners and three women. The Palestinian Authority also said that 256 Palestinians killed in the conflict with Israel since 1967 were buried at a cemetery in northern Israel. Over the past few months, the Israeli army has carried out daily raids on Palestinian towns, villages and refugee camps, mainly in the northern West Bank. Israelis claim they want to arrest Palestinian terrorists wanted by Israeli security forces. Tensions between Israel and Palestinians have killed more than 100 Palestinians since January, according to official Palestinian figures. Meanwhile, Israeli sources said 19 Israelis have been killed in attacks by Palestinians in Israel and the West Bank.
