Drone flying banned in 30 regions of Russia

Europe News Desk!! The flight of drones has been banned in 30 regions, including Russia’s two largest cities. Security reasons have been cited for this. Authorities in Russia’s second largest city, St. Petersburg, confirmed on Thursday that its airspace has been closed to drones until May 15, Xinhua news agency quoted Russian news agency RIA Novosti as saying. In Leningrad, Governor Alexander Drozdenko said the region had banned flying drones. Media reports said the ban was imposed after a power line pole exploded in the Leningrad region on Monday. Drone flights were banned in the country’s capital and largest city Moscow on Wednesday after an attempted drone attack on Russian President Vladimir Putin’s Kremlin residence. Experts said the country is likely to ban drone flights in more areas.
