Europe News Desk!!! Israeli missiles targeted the international airport and several military sites in Syria’s Aleppo province, killing one soldier and wounding seven others. The army gave this information in a statement on Tuesday. The attack was carried out just before midnight, hitting the airport and several military bases in Aleppo’s rural areas, Xinhua news agency reported. Two civilians are also among the injured. Aleppo’s international airport as well as the capital Damascus was earlier attacked by Israel and was out of service for days. Meanwhile, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported several explosions in the area of Aleppo International Airport and Al-Nairb Air Base. The UK-based watchdog declined to give further details but said the attack was the 16th of its kind since the beginning of 2023. In March, Israel attacked Aleppo’s airport on two separate occasions and closed it for several days.
