Europe News Desk!!! Ukraine’s Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov has said that 18 standards of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) have been implemented in the country. Ukraine’s Interfax news agency quoted Reznikov as saying that by the end of this year, Ukraine will implement 30-35 percent of NATO’s standards, Xinhua news agency reported. He said Ukraine does not need to implement 100 percent of NATO’s standards to become a member. Reznikov said that no NATO member country meets all of the more than 1,200 criteria. Ukraine’s parliament last month urged NATO to speed up the process of admitting Ukraine to the organization. In 2020, NATO granted Ukraine the status of an Extended Opportunity Partner.
