
Europe News Desk!! Trade between Iran and Saudi Arabia has resumed. The two Arab countries stepped up efforts to normalize relations in March. This was announced by an Iranian official. Trade Minister Raza Fatemi-Amin told media persons on Tuesday on the agreement reached between Tehran and Riyadh to normalize bilateral relations in March, Xinhua news agency reported. On Sunday, Iran’s Minister of Roads and Urban Development Mehrdad Bajrapash announced that the country has received a proposal from Saudi Arabia to start three regular flights between the two countries per week, in addition to the Hajj flights. Iran and Saudi Arabia reached an agreement in March to resume diplomatic ties and reopen embassies and missions in both countries within two months. In a meeting held in Beijing on 6 April, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdullahian and his Saudi counterpart Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud signed a joint statement announcing the resumption of diplomatic relations with immediate effect.
