Europe News Desk!! Iraq’s foreign ministry said it was working to evacuate its citizens from Sudan, where fighting continued for a ninth day. “We are working to get the much-needed response and the safety of our community is our top priority,” ministry spokesman Ahmed Al-Sahhaf was quoted as saying by Xinhua news agency. According to Al-Sahhaf, the ministry was able to evacuate 14 Iraqi nationals from Khartoum to a safe place in the Port Sudan area, given that there are about 300 Iraqis in Sudan. We are continuing our efforts to evacuate the remaining persons. Clashes between the Sudanese army and the paramilitary Rapid Support Force (RSF) continued for the ninth consecutive day in the capital Khartoum and surrounding towns due to disagreements over the integration of the RSF into the army. At least 424 people have been killed and about 3,730 injured in the clashes as of Saturday, according to Sudan’s health ministry.
