The Malian Armed Forces said the incident happened at around 1:10 pm on Saturday. The news agency Xinhua gave this information quoting a statement on Saturday. Arrangements are being made to assess the situation and provide assistance to the victims, the statement said. The General Staff of the Armed Forces asked the public to remain calm and to follow the instructions of the special services on site. Since 2012, Mali has been engulfed in a deep multidimensional crisis at the security, political and economic levels. Thousands have so far been killed and hundreds of thousands displaced in the West African nation.
