Europe News Desk!! The Russo-Ukraine War has caused some seven million Ukrainians to be internally displaced. Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister Irina Vereshchuk was quoted by Xinhua news agency and Interfax-Ukraine news agency as saying that some 4.8 million of the displaced were officially registered as internally displaced persons (IDPs). One million children were forced to leave their homes because of the war, Vereshchuk said. According to the latest UN estimates, more than 8.1 million people have moved from Ukraine to European countries since the start of the war.
