The attack on the Al-Aqsa Mosque is unacceptable, the semi-official Anadolu Agency quoted Erdogan as saying at an iftar gathering organized by retired citizens in Ankara on Wednesday. Turkey’s president said attacks against Muslim worshipers must stop, Xinhua news agency reported. The Palestinians are not alone, he said. Türkiye will never remain silent in the face of these attacks. Early Wednesday, Israeli police raided the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound and clashed with dozens of Palestinian worshipers inside. At least 12 were injured during the clashes.
