The NATO chief said in a press conference that the event will be part of the agenda for the meeting of foreign ministers of NATO countries on Tuesday and Wednesday, reports Xinhua news agency. Stoltenberg said, “I hope that the ministers will reach an agreement on starting work on the preparation of a multi-year program for Ukraine.” In addition to providing assistance to Ukraine in its war with Russia, the program is also important for the long-term relationship between Ukraine and NATO, he said. Stoltenberg said that at the meeting, the foreign ministers of NATO countries will also discuss strengthening assistance to Ukraine’s forces and their adaptation to NATO standards. As part of the foreign ministers’ meeting, a meeting of Ukraine and the NATO commission will also take place on Tuesday.
