America News Desk!!! UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has expressed concern over the Israeli airstrike on Syria’s Aleppo airport. Guterres’ deputy spokesman Farhan Haq said the secretary-general was concerned about the attacks on Aleppo International Airport. This resulted in damage and the closure of the airport. This also led to the cancellation of a flight of the United Nations Humanitarian Air Service. Haq was quoted by Xinhua news agency as saying that the secretary-general reminded all parties to respect their obligations under international law, including international humanitarian law. He recommends avoiding attacks that harm civilians and damage civilian infrastructure.
