Iran unveils final prototype of indigenous jet trainer

World News Desk!!! Iran has unveiled the final prototype of a jet trainer that could help pilots learn the tactics and techniques of air and air-to-surface warfare. The aircraft can also be tasked with close air support, Iranian Defense Minister Mohammadreza Ashtiani said at a ceremony held to launch Yasin, an aircraft assembly line in Tehran, according to official news agency IRNA. Equipped with in-house sub-systems such as ejection seats, avionics, engines and landing gears, the final prototype is much more advanced and developed tactically than the first prototype unveiled in October 2019, according to a report by the semi-official news agency Tasnim . The report added that a domestically developed airborne weather radar has also been installed. Ashtiani said the aircraft can carry out a wider range of missions and will help significantly reduce the training period while improving its quality, reports Xinhua news agency.
