Jordan welcomed the tripartite statement issued on Friday by Saudi Arabia, Iran and China on the resumption of diplomatic ties, Al Arabiya reported, with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates in Amman expressing hope that the agreement would bring more progress in the region. It praised Saudi Arabia’s leading role in promoting security, peace and stability as well as in pursuing diplomacy in resolving regional and international disputes. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey also welcomed the agreement. In a statement, Al Arabiya pointed out that it congratulated both countries on the agreement, which contributed significantly to laying the foundation of security in the region.
