Europe News Desk!!! Ramallah, March 11 (IANS). A Palestinian teenager was killed in clashes with Israeli soldiers in the West Bank. The Ministry of Health gave this information. The ministry said late on Friday that the minor boy, 16-year-old Amri Awad, died of a bullet wound to the chest. In the village of Kafr Qaddum, east of Qalqilya, Palestinian coordinator Murad Ishtiwi said three Palestinian protesters were wounded by rubber-coated metal bullets fired by Israeli troops. Similar clashes broke out between Palestinian protesters and Israeli troops in the village of Beit Dajan, near the northern West Bank city of Nablus, according to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society. Israeli officials have not yet commented on these incidents. At least 79 Palestinians have been killed in the West Bank and East Jerusalem during clashes with Israeli forces since the beginning of the year, the Palestinian Health Ministry said. Official Israeli figures showed that 14 Israelis have been killed in Palestinian attacks.
