
Europe News Desk!! One person was killed and 69 others were injured after a 5.6-magnitude earthquake struck eastern Turkey. The epicenter of Monday’s quake was located in the Yeşiltar district of Malatya province, which had already experienced tremors on February 6, Xinhua news agency reported. The Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) said 25 buildings previously damaged by the earthquake earlier this month collapsed on Monday. Earlier on February 6, a 7.7-magnitude earthquake occurred in Turkey’s southern province of Kahramanmaras. Minutes later, a magnitude 6.4 earthquake struck the country’s southern province of Gaziantep, followed by a 7.6 magnitude earthquake at 1 p.m. On 20 February, two more earthquakes occurred in Hatay Province in southern Turkey, killing six people.
