Europe News Desk!!! The aircraft of Israel’s national aviation company El Al flew over the airspace of Oman and Saudi Arabia for the first time. El Al Flight 083 took off from Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion Airport for Bangkok on Sunday evening, the first Israeli commercial flight to use the new corridor, Xinhua news agency reported. The flight is expected to take around eight hours to reach the capital of Thailand. According to a statement issued by the company, the new route will reduce flights to some Asian destinations by almost two hours. Oman last week announced the opening of its airspace to Israel, following a similar move announced by Saudi Arabia in July 2022. Significantly, Israel does not have official relations with Oman and Saudi Arabia.
