Canada News Desk!! Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has announced that Canada will provide four additional Leopard 2 battle tanks to Ukraine. Trudeau said on Friday that Canada would also give Ukraine an armored vehicle and more than 5,000 rounds of ammunition, Xinhua news agency reported. In addition, Russia will impose new sanctions on about 200 more individuals and entities, including members of the lower house of parliament and ministers. On Friday, Canadian Foreign Affairs Minister Melanie Jolie announced more than 32 million Canadian dollars ($25.6 million) in aid to Ukraine to address conflict-related sexual violence and chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear threats. In January, Canadian Defense Minister Anita Anand said the country would send four battle tanks to Ukraine. The Canadian Armed Forces currently has 82 German-built Leopard 2 battle tanks. Through February 2022, Canada has committed more than C$5 billion in aid to Ukraine.
