
Europe News Desk!!! Another 5-magnitude earthquake struck Hatay province in southern Turkey, bordering Syria. The country’s disaster agency gave this information. The earthquake occurred at 6:53 pm local time on Thursday. According to the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority, the earthquake was centered in the province’s Daphne district with a depth of 9.76 km. No casualties have been reported so far, Xinhua news agency reported. Hatay was first hit by two major earthquakes on February 6, followed by two more on Tuesday night. An earthquake of magnitude 6.4 hit Daphne district on Tuesday. A magnitude 7.7 earthquake struck Turkey’s southern province of Kahramanmaras at 4:17 a.m. local time on February 6, followed by a magnitude 7.6 earthquake at 1:24 p.m. local time. Recent earthquakes have killed more than 43,000 people and left tens of thousands homeless in 10 provinces of southern Turkey.
